United Association Plumbers and Gasfitters Local Union #15 was chartered on February 7, 1890 and currently represents approximately 1,500 members working in all aspects of the Plumbing and Gas Distribution/Pipeline industry, along with Metal Trades members and Engineers working for the City of Minneapolis. Local 15 Journeyman and apprentices enjoy the benefits of being among the best trained in the Industry, experienced working in residential construction and service, commercial and industrial construction and service, medical, research and development, gas distribution and pipeline work, and other specialized areas. Although our members work throughout the state for our union contractors, Local 15 covers a Geographical area made up of the following counties. Anoka, Benton, Big Stone, Carver, Chippewa, Hennepin, Isanti, Kandiyohi, Lac Qui Parle, McLeod, Meeker, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Pope, Scott, Sherburne, Stearns, Swift, Todd, Wright, and Yellow Medicine.
